Chord Finder and Scales:
There are three typical usages of Chord Finder and Scales:
Find a chord name by its position:
Click on the neck to indicate the finger positions, The Ukulele Helper will indicate which chord it is (if nothing is displayed, the position doesn't correspond to a known chord).Find all the inversions of a given chord:
Click on the root note, then on a chord type, The Ukulele Helper will indicate you one finger position ; then use the big arrows to navigate through inversions.
If you want to also see incomplete chords (chords with no 5 for example), click on the incomplete button.Show a given scale on the ukulele neck:
Click on the root note, then on a scale name, The Ukulele Helper will show the notes of the scale on the neck (the root note is in pure red).
You can print this webpage, you will only get the neck and the chord/scale name (useless stuff is automatically removed).
For the both usages, you can use the little arrows above and underneath the neck to limit the possibilities (i.e. I don't want open string, I have a 12 frets uke...)
On the headstock of the ukulele, you can control the tuning.
If you have problems with the page settings, logo, tooltips... you probably have an old browser: please consider using the last version of Firefox or Chrome or Opera.
